The park is free and open to the public daily from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Hello and welcome to the Hālawa District Park and the New Zealand Bound WIG. This WIG will guide you throughout the park while stopping at five locations along the way. While at these locations you will be given questions to answer which deal specifically with the country of New Zealand. When you successfully complete each zones questions, you then will be guided to the final cache location. The WIG cartridge will guide you to the final within the game-play and give you a hint if needed. The estimated game play time should be around 30-45 minutes depending on your New Zealand knowledge level. Additional game instructions will be provided at Zone-1 within the cartridge.

You must download the cartridge to your Garmin compatible device or smart phone with compatible Application. The physical cache does not have a writing utensil in it, so please bring your own tool of the trade for the log. Please use stealth at the final location and replace the cache as found and ensure it is camo'd and out of sight of the average eyes.
