This cache is hidden near the edge of a beautiful old Catholic cemetery. Please be respectful while searching - you will NOT be asked to disturb any graves. Cemetery is open during daylight hours only!
My Meme (my great-grandmother) was always very insistent that we visit her grave after she passed away, and although we were pretty regular about this for the first few years, our visits have tapered to once or twice a year. When she was buried in this cemetery in 1997, I discovered a nearby grave that piqued my interest, and spent a significant amount of time learning about the woman buried there. One of the things I learned was that she hadn't had any visitors, at least not in the past 30 or so years before I started tending her grave. Susan died in 1928, at the age of 25, only 3 years after coming to Canada from Scotland. I'm sure both Susan and my Meme (who is buried nearby) would enjoy some fresh visitors.
