Local legend tells the story of an interior designer, by the name of Mavis Grunge. With her business failing badly, Mavis decided to take a break in the nearby town of Callington. One day, while out for a walk, Mavis saw this wonderful fusion of a very large Laurel and the Ash tree which you can still see here today. This led to a blinding flash of inspiration and Mavis Grunge was reborn as Laurel Ashtree!
There are room for some swaps, a logbook and a pencil. Small travel bugs will also fit and there is one inside at the time of hiding. If the coordinates seem out due to the tree cover, look for the big tree suggested by the cache title, just next to the pull-in.
