ASP 80th Anniversary Geocaching West Texas Style Event Cache

Abilene State Park is celebrating their 80th Anniversary, so we decided to celebrate with them by having a Geocaching Event in their honor. Come out, celebrate, and enjoy the outdoors at this wonderful state park. 

Friday, Oct.24th, 2014

6:00ish Meet and Greet/Potluck at Group Shelter. Hosted by Gonefishing2. 

8:00pm Night Sounds demonstration. Hosted by Texas State Park Staff.  Learn about various local night sounds. Location TBA. 

Saturday, Oct. 25th, 2014

9:00am Geocaching 101 by Concession/Pool Building. Hosted by Fishingkitty. This is a teaching time on geocaching for everyone.

10:00-12:00 Games and temporary caches in and around the Group Shelter.  BRING DOMINOES AND ANY OTHER GAMES!!!

12:00-1:30 Lunch. 

1:30 SPECIAL SURPRISE. Hosted by fishingkitty. You don't want to miss this!!  Meet at The Historical Marker close to the Concession stand.  

6:00ish Dinner. 

8:00ish New Night Cache. Hosted by TP.Papa.Bear. Location TBA.
