This cache is placed along the reamins of an old Stage Coach Road that was used in the 1700's as a road from Massachusetts to New Haven. The road was reportedly closed when Straits Turnpike was opened up. My 7 year old daughter and 10 year old son were able to hike this trail and help me place this cache. Little Cizzors picked out this spot. Neighboring properties allow hunting, use caution and wear bright colors while hiking. These trails have some areas of rugged terrain from being washed out, proper footwear and caution should be taken in certain areas. We hope you enjoy exploring this Preserve.
