When I was little, I remember older kids playing with each other and leaping out from behind bushes or garbage cans and yelling, "BANZAI!" I had no idea of the meaning or implication of the word, but I was not old enough to understand some of the ways of the world. But what confused me was also hearing the word "bonsai," which basically sounded the same to my young ears, and seemed to be something much more peaceful, involving gardening and snipping tiny trees instead of attacking enemies. As I grew, and began to learn more about history and culture, I always found it odd to have two words that sound so nearly alike having two vastly different meanings. While I have named this puzzle after the word the kids used in play, you may have a more peaceful adventure in locating the cache. Here is the latest Big Abacus! puzzle. Enjoy.
