Geocache Description:

Cache was placed in the dark at 9:14 pm.

Dots = Reflective Tacks

There is no cache at the posted coordinates however this is where your adventure will begin. Head south down the Ice Age Trail. There is a dot on the sign but if that one gets taken there are plenty down the trail. Follow the dots until you turn right at the basswood with 2 dots. Continue until you get to a Maple on the right side of the trail with 2 dots. Look left or uphill. Follow the dots until you get to 5 dots on 5 birches. Find the glow in the dark cache and sign the log.

I placed this cache when it was pitch black out to make sure you can see one dot to the next with a light. Teamwork would not be a bad idea if your are at all timid of the dark for this cache. I really should have had someone with me especially when I found the spot to hide the cache and then had to work my way back out placing dots. Happy I have a good sense of direction.

Welcome to the Blue Hills

The Blue Hills series will have a variety of cache sizes, terrain and difficulties. These caches are not set up as a powertrail. Caches are meant to remain at the GZ. You should be able to retrieve "Most" logs without removing the cache.

Depending on your preferred caching style; you can filter caches by size, difficulty, or terrain and just go for those.

Any new information or updates about this series will be posted on the BH01 - Blue Hills cache page.
