Tips:
Definitely bring a lot of water. It is next to impossible to find drinking water that deep in the park. You should also definitely bring mosquito repellent. These two are highly recommended. Here is a list of what you might want to have:
- A lot of water
- Mosquito repellent
- Hand sanitizer
- Napkin/Tissues
- Something to snack on
- Items to trade with from the cache
- Hat
- Wear sporting/loose clothes
- Wear close toed shoes
It might have rained before you get to the cache. It would be great if you could bring a replacement ziplock bag to cover up the cache.
How To Get There:
Well, first of all it's located in the LuoHu district. Not a very popular choice for geocachers in Shenzhen but that's why we decided to hide one there.
The closes metro station is the Tai'an Station Exit B.
After you exit the station, it is a good walk to the park. A good walk.
Directions to the park entrance (In extreme detail):
Come off the escalator on the station exit (Exit B) and take an immediate left. You will see a road right in front of you. Cross the road, get on the sidewalk, then continue walking down the sidewalk (towards your left. you will have to cross another small road, the station is an intersection) Very soon you should see a 7 Eleven on your right. Thats a good sign! It means you are going in the right direction. You did something wrong if you don't see a 7 Eleven. Anyways, keep walking straight. You will pass a bike store, some clothing stores, and one of those small kiosks with magazines and drinks. After a good few minutes of walking you will see a wide opening to a larger road to your right. Take the right. You will still be on a sidewalk and if you look to your right you should see a few toy stores (not too obvious) . Keep walking and you will eventually end up at a "Jusco" entrance. To your left will be zebra strips to cross which will lead you to a mall called "ViCity". There is a nice looking (pretty new) path in the same direction as the zebra walk. As you take that path you should see the mall to your left the entire time. Keep walking in that direction and you will see a government installed bike stand full of orange "eco" bikes (5-7 minute walk to the bike stands). Follow the sidewalk to until you see another zebra crossing (its usually very crowded at this crossing.) In front, you will see a huge entrance to the park, it will be pretty obvious. Congratulations, you have made it to the park!
Inside:
It's a REALLY big park. You should use your coordinates to guide you towards the cache. After a lot of walking and exploring you should find bridges (pictures attached). The cache is located on a very very small island that you can easily access by the bridges.
On the Island:
By now, you should entirely be relying on the coordinates to find the cache. The cache is hidden inside/beside (you figure it out) a tree. There is definitely a tree involved.
SMALL HINT: THE TREE IS OFF THE ORIGINAL PATH. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO STEP ON SOME SMALL PLANTS TO GET THERE.
The Cache:
The cache is a cylindrical lock and lock container with items of not much value. You don't have to bring something too valuable for replacement.

The park is a great place to relax and spend some time in peace and quiet. It has a lot of beautiful views and you can bring along your camera to take some great shots!
