Cima della Rosetta 2743 m s.l.m.
The Natural Park consists of the area of the Pale di San Martino Group as well as the forest of Paneveggio and the porphyritic chain of Lagorai. It covers area of 125 square km, which in 1987 has been divided in three different levels of protection:
33% of the area have been assigned to completely protected areas,
60% are restriced areas and
7% are controlled areas.

L' impontente cima della Rosetta è una delle vette delle Pale di San Martino.
Il parco naturale del Paneveggio e delle Pale di San Martino è formato dall'area delle Pale, così come dalla foresta del Paneveggio e dalla catena porfirica del Lagorai. Copre un'area di 125 chilometri quadrati, che nel 1987 sono stati divisi in 3 differenti livelli di protezione: il 33% della zona è preservata al 100%, il 60% è sottoposta a limitazioni, il 7% è comunque monitorata. The easiest way to the summit leads through the cable car from San Martino di Castrozza. From the upper station of cable car it is the walk about 200 m uphill. Or you can climb under the cable car from San Martino - then all-day trip and 1300 m of elevation is waiting for you. Between the photos you can also find a tourist map.
Price of cable-car is 20 Eur up and down (2014) and parking is free.
The cache is placed directly on top next to a beautiful cross (spoiler). There are wonderful views of whole group Palla.

In winter, peak is accessible, but the cache is under stones and you will probably not be successful in finding it.

Il modo più semplice per raggiungere la cima è la cabinovia (20 euro andata/ritorno, pacheggio gratuito) che parte da San Martino di Castrozza. Dal punto d'arrivo dell'impianto di risalita il dislivello per raggiungere la vetta è di 200 metri. Se invece decidete di salire a piedi il dislivello è di 1300 metri e l'escursione vi prenderà tutta la giornata. Fra le foto troverete comunque una mappa.
La cache è vicina alla croce sulla sommità della montagna, con una spettacolare vista a 360° gadi sulle Pale. Occhio ai babbani, la zona della croce è molto frequentata. Durante l'inverno la vettà è raggiungibile ma, essendo nascosta sotto le rocce, la cache è difficilmente accessibile.
