Geocache Description:


This is the entry point to Kauri Point and Ongaere Point villages which are peninsulas on the edge of Tauranga Harbour. Many people pass by on the main road without even knowing what delightful places they are. Kauri Point has a long wharf famous for fishermen catching kingfish. it also has some historic sites and a lovely 20min bush walk around the coast which carries on over a grassy reserve to Ongaere Point. The cache is a medium camo container able to hold travel bugs.
