While doing some caches in this area, I happened upon this rock feature while bushwhacking between caches. Natural or man-made? There may have been a quarry operation here years ago. Fit for a [giant] king! When placing this cache, a beautiful red fox bounded out of sight, hence the name. Getting there: Its tempting to try for this one from Reservoir Road, but there are no parking signs posted and your vehicle may be towed. I've found the trail blazes in here to be spotty and confusing and the map at the parking lot doesn't help. Start out from the parking lot on the Blue-Orange trail and quickly look for the Green trail on your right. Follow the Green trail (S) for about 0.3 mile to an intersection, where you will turn left (N) onto a Red-Green trail. Soon you will meet a Blue-Orange trail, which you should take heading South. This trail gradually turns east and you will come to a crossroads. At this point you will be about 300 feet from Mr. Bill's Beetle Cave Maze cache, but 900 feet from Throne. There is no direct trail from here to the cache but you can make some use of existing trails, either going North or South, and then some bushwhacking. Enjoy the hike and good luck!
