T2A-R: Yesteryear (Hauraki) Traditional Cache

This is one of a series of caches we have placed on a route from Tauranga to Auckland return (T2A-R). The traditional caches will contain information needed for two bonus caches, one at either end of the trip.

From time to time we travel this route between Tauranga and Auckland, sometimes returning the same day. We have got into the habit of stopping to find a cache or two as a good excuse to take a break from driving, and decided to place a few ourselves.

This cache is a replacement for GC55AXT 'Welcome to Paeroa' which we had to archive after it was muggled. There is plenty of safe off-road parking here, but do be careful to keep away from the fast-moving traffic nearby. There are nice views of the Hauraki Plains countryside, and the Yesteryear Barn not far from GZ is worth a visit.

You are looking for a camoed screw-top container with a log book and pencil. There is room for small swaps and TB's. Please be stealthy when retrieving the cache and rehide well. The cache also contains one of the clues you will need to locate the T2A-R: Auckland Bonus cache.
