Ekincik an unspoiled nature conservation area of breathtaking beauty. Uncrowded, pretty and tranquil, with a nice little beach nearby. The coastal road there is gorgeous and it's also a good base for boat trips and walking tours. Ekincik lies in the south-west of Turkey in a quiet bay enclosed by hills, and only 45 minutes drive from Dalaman airport. There is a unspoiled 2 kilometres long gravel beach and a small harbour from which the boats departs to Dalyan (approx. 45 minutes) The scenery is stunning and there are many opportunities to observe the local wildlife. On the beach there is a small range of water sports facilities available include banana-boat and water-ski. Ekincik is a very small place with some local shops and a restaurant. There is no nightlife. The Sultaniye Thermal Baths are just a few minutes drive from Ekincik, and situated on the southwest shore of Lake Koycegiz, the water come from natural springs at 40 degrees centigrade and have been use since Roman times at least. They are believed to have curative properties including the relief of neuralgia, rheumatism and skin disorders of the liver, spleen and bowels, but whatever they afford a relaxing interlude as you soak away the strains of being away on holiday. Ekincik is suitable for anyone who seeks rest and peace in comfortable environment.
