Hickory Dickory Dock... Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Graeme+Sandy: Many thanks to everyone who has found and logged this one over the last year or so - to be honest, I'm amazed that it has lasted as long as it did! Unfortunately, it has now disappeared and there's plenty of evidence of recent chav activity in the area. Also some cretin has decided to graffiti all over the drain pipe that the cache was attached to. I do hope that Lichfield council tidy this area up once again as it was previously a really nice, peaceful spot. Maybe one day our little mouse friend will return! :-)

Geocache Description:

This is our third hide - the clue to where the cache is hidden and also the cache container is in the title. This one is quite exposed, so we don't expect it to be around for very long, but hopefully it will provide some of you with some fun for a little while :-)

This cache is hidden close to the centre of Lichfield. We have driven past this location literally hundreds of times over the years and thought it would make a great place for a hide. We are trying to stick with a theme of creating caches that are a little bit unusual or different. So with that in mind, take a look at the title for a clue about what you're looking for and all should become clear...only room for a paper log to sign, no room for any items to swap on this one. It is quite exposed so may not be long before it gets muggled, but thought it was a fun idea anyway :-)

There is parking available on the road very close to the location, although be aware that there are restrictions on parking at certain times of the day. The road around here does also get very busy at times, so take care if you have kids with you.

From here you can either take a short walk into Lichfield city centre, or perhaps just sit on a bench and enjoy the rather attractive area around the hide.

FTF - Congratulations to llouise (and thanks for the favourite point too!)
