Geocache Description:

Bimbling along a country road in complete oblivion to the fact that we were lost, we came along this intriguing spot.

We're in the process of translating the Greek sign but it would appear to be a park that has been donated by the Vasilliko Cement Company that operates nearby - you won't be able to miss it when you reach the cache, it's a huge monstrosity that we wish we had shares in given the amount of concrete homes that are built here in Cyprus.

EDIT - the sign reads as follows: Community Sportsfield Zygi - Vasilikou The Sportsfield and the Park was constructed by the Vasilikou Cement Factory Ltd and was donated in 2004 for the Zygi Community. It was inaugurated on 24 September 2005 by the Honourable President of the Parliament Mr Dimitri Christofia and the Representatives of the Cypriot Democracy

The slightly unkempt park adjoins a very well tended football pitch and contains an unexpected object, below which we have placed a cache so that you too can share in the delight of turning a corner and discovering something that is truly high and dry.

Be careful with toddlers - there's a bridge within the park that is coned off at either end - we didn't test it but it's probably unsafe so keep them near you at all times.
