Geocache Description:

A nice walk along Crays Lane towards the lovely village of Thakeham. The cache is a medium sized plastic container. Having found the cache continue along the lane towards Thakeham and passing Crays Farm entrance look carefully at the brickwork below and left of the public footpath sign to see German POW Camp 46 written in some concrete. I live locally and a lady who lived in my cottage as a child through the war years recalled how she would enjoy the prisoners walking by to work in the fields as they often gave the children carved wooden figures.
