Midstate Spencer - Gas Saver Traditional Cache

This series of caches will be placed along the Mid State trail that traverses through the Four Chimneys WMA in Spencer, MA.  There are 3 additional caches that have been there for a few years placed by MtnProf.

This is an active hunting area even outside the boundries of Four Chimneys that is open to hunting all year around so please be aware and wear BLAZE ORANGE when you are searching for caches.

This is a small round lock n lock with Halloween related items.

It could be considered a Park n Grab if you are starting at the alternate parking area.

Should be able to be found with less than 6 inches of snow on ground

BYOP

The only trail in this area is the Mid State and is well marked and easy to follow.

The area is open from Sunrise to Sunset

Note that a "hunter orange" hat is required wear for hunters during the pheasant season.

If you are only doing this one, you can park further down on Borkum road towards Charlton where the the pipeline crosses.
