Geocache Description:

In fourteen hundred ninety-two
Columbus sailed the ocean blue.

He had three ships and left from Spain;
He sailed through sunshine, wind and rain.

He sailed by night; he sailed by day;
He used the stars to find his way.

Columbus Day, which is annually on the second Monday of October, remembers Christopher Columbus' arrival to the Americas on October 12, 1492.

The cache contains a log, pen and a BIG $ prize for FTF.  No credit without your signature.  Always bring your own pen anyway.  Park in the nearby lot I designed for one vehicle. You may night cache here.

I would dare not wear flip flops or any other open type of shoe as there seems to be a large occurrance of wild glass bottles strewn thru the woods (some a little crunchy).

This cache is located on state game lands. Be sure to wear blaze orange during open hunting seasons. Also, please mind the nearby No Tresspassing signs marking the difference between private property and public.
