Cache Like a Girl Scout #2 Traditional Cache

This is #2 of 3 in a series called "Cache Like a Girl Scout" placed with permission in the Leroy Oakes Forest Preserve.  This is a beautiful forest preserve property -- so plan to spend a little time exploring!

This is #2 in series of three caches called "Cache Like a Girl Scout."  I am placing these caches to introduce my sister's Girl Scout troop to geocaching.  They will be learning about geocaching by finding these -- and earning the "Geocacher" skill building badge.  The bonus is that you will have the opportunity to explore an amazing forest preserve property here in Kane County.  This cache requires a brief hike up a trail -- there are two trailheads that will get you there, so take your pick!  It is a medium-sized container -- forest preserve rules require it to be clear container -- there is a story behind this!  

This property and the trails are kept in excellent condition.  There is parking near the trailheads.
