Geocache Description:

This cache requires the use of a car or some mode of transportation at different intervals.

Welcome to “Crossed Between Two Towns” cache!

This cache requires lots of time and some wit. However, I think you will find this rather fun.

PLEASE NOTE - ALL COORDINATES WERE VERIFIED WITH MAPSEND STREETS SOFTWARE

I have joined both the fun of a crossword puzzle together with the hunt for a cache. In order to figure out the crossword words, you will need to visit the coordinates listed in the clues.

You will first need to visit the web page, designed specifically for this hunt. Please go to webpagepuzzle.

Please print off the crossword and begin your hunt.

When your crossword is complete, please visit this page to collect a password and move ahead. Please note, the password needs to be in lower case letters.

For uniformity sake, all numbers are spelled out and words are “joined together” meaning, if number 10 across is “New York” you would write it in the crossword as “NewYork”, or “Lake Lawn Resort” would be “LakeLawnResort”.

The coordinates for the crossword are “in proximity” so you may have to do a little hunting around with your eyes for the words.

If you need hints, e-mail me at trj1965@yahoo.com. Otherwise, none are provided.

Likewise, if you encounter any problems, please let me know.

Enjoy. It is something that is a little different.

***Quick note, once you complete the crossword puzzle, you will need internet access to complete the code. Local connections can be found at the Delavan Library or the Elkhorn Library.

CACHE CONTENTS:

The cache contains lots of little things normally found in a cache. However, it also contains a code word. If you are the first to take this cache, please retrieve the code, take it home and e-mail me. I will then send you a gift certificate for two for a Sunday Brunch at a local resort.
Happy Hunting!
