When I introduced my friend kubowski to geocaching three years ago, I had no idea he would latch on to it the way he did. A little more than three years later, he just logged his 2000th find! I'm pleased to say I've been along for most of them. Geocaching has taken us to some absolutely amazing places, and we have had countless memorable adventures together. This cache has been placed to commemorate his 2000th find, as well as to celebrate his favourite season, autumn.
I was out for a country drive today. The sun was shining, I could smell the scents of the autumn leaves on the air. It was truly a magnificent day. I drove, casually looking for a good place for a cache, and that's when I passed a "no-exit road." These are the roads made for caching. :) The trees along the road have turned a beautiful shade of yellow, opposite the outline of the Rockies in the distance, and the cows were grazing in the nearby field.
Though a high-clearance vehicle should have no problem making it down this grassy lane, I'd suggest parking at the mailboxes, and taking the short, beautiful walk to GZ. There isn't much opportunity to turn around once you commit yourself.
You are looking for a small camouflaged LnL. Though placed to highlight the beauty of autumn, this one should be available year-round. Watch out for the dip down and then back up again on your way from the road to GZ.
