Entrance of Niigata: Echigo-Yuzawa Station / 越後湯沢駅 Traditional Cache

Echigo-Yuzawa Station, is a station of the Joetsu Shinkansen and Joetsu Line. 
In the vicinity of the station, there are a number of ski resorts also Echigo Yuzawa Onsen,. 
We will stop at  this station to use ski and  leisure and tourism.

This station  was opened on November 1, 1925. 
In the Shinkansen station, Atami Station and this station is located in the hot springs.
And , Rapid-ordinary train services stop express of "Hokuetsukyuukou Hokuhokusen" that starting from the Joetsu Line Muikamachi Station as "Hakutaka" now.

越後湯沢駅は、上越線と上越新幹線の駅です。
1925年11月1日に開業しました。
新幹線の駅の中で温泉地にあるのは、この駅と熱海駅だそうです。
現在は上越線六日町駅を起点とする北越急行ほくほく線の特急「はくたか」と快速・普通列車が発着しています。

駅の周辺には、越後湯沢温泉、また多数のスキー場があります。
観光やレジャーとしての拠点の駅です。
