Welcome to the Wawota ball diamonds!
Check-out the nearby attractions, including a sign for Wawota's very own Brooks Laich. The large snowflake was put up in 2005 to mark Wawota's 100th anniversary.
Established in 1905, its name is from Dakota "wa ota", which means "lots of snow". Wa means 'snow', oda or ota means 'lots'. It is sometimes mistakenly said to mean 'deep snow'.
**NOTE: Stealth may be required, depending on nearby activities. Please do not drive off the gravel road, especially in the spring or if it has rained recently.
