Candva nu prea de demult daca mai tineti minte in parcul Tabacarie , era o atractie turistica inedita si destul de rara in tara , un trenulet de tip mocanita ce inconjura tot lacul Tabacarie , foarte popular printre turisti dar si Constanteni.
Linia feroviara ingusta urbana din parc , ce cuprindea 2 podete si 2 tuneluri era destul de unicata in tara , fiind doar inca 2 de acest fel : in parcul Copiilor din Timisoara si in Oraselul Copiilor din Bucuresti , astazi din pacate doar cel din Bucuresti a supravietuit intr-o forma redusa.
Trenuletul se pare ca a incetat sa functioneze undeva in 2002- 2003 , si atuncea se pare ca functiona pe un traseu incomplet , linia fiind intrerupta pe terenul unde deja se incepusera lucrarile la noua statie de epurare din zona Pescarie. Desi linia putea fi usor deviata pe marginea lacului fara a afecta noua statie de epurare necesara orasului , si chiar reabilitata cu bani europeni dupa aderarea la UE in 2007 , dar din pacate nu a mai apucat anul 2007 , in 2005 batundu-se ultimul cui in sicriul liniei.
EN Once, not too long ago, if you remember there was a touristic attraction in Tabacarie Park, quite rare and unique over the coutry, some kind of train called "mocanita" which surrounded all the Tabacarie Lake, very popular among tourists and locals. The narrow urban rail line from the park,which included two bridges and two tunnels was quite unique in the country, being only 2 more like this: in Children's park from Timisoara and in Children's Town from Bucharest, unfortunately today, only the one from Bucharest survided in a reduced form. The train seems to have stopped working somewhere between 2002- 2003,but even then is was functioning on an incomplete track,the line being discontinued on the land where were already started the construction works for the new purification station, from Pescarie area.Although the line could be easily deviated to the edge of the lake without affecting the new purification station necessary for the city, and even rehabilitated with european funds after joining the EU in 2007, but unfortunately it didn't make it till 2007, in 2005 it was driped the last nail in the coffin of the rail line.
