Clear plastic container with white lid. Our kids like to check on this cache so please help us take care of it. This cache is just a few steps away from where you can park. I have permission for this cache. Gates open at 7am and close at dark. Have fun!
This beautiful cemetery is home to Ripleys smallest tombstone so stop and check it out. This cemetery was established in 1861 by Confederate General Cogswell. In 1861 the cemetery consisted of about 10 acres. Just south of the cemetery at that time there was a 30 acre horse racing track that dissolved in 1881. The race track then became the center circle drive of the cemetery. In 1883 the city of Butler took possession of the cemetery. I hope you enjoy this cemetery and cache.
