Geocache Description:

The Kittanning path was a major Native American trail in western Pa in the 1700's. A few of the towns the trail passed through in the area included: Cherry Tree, Uniontown, Cookport, Diamondville, and Indiana. In 2000 Mike Slease and some companions recreated Lt. Col. John Armstrongs' march on the Delaware Indian villge of Kittanning. On Friday September 8, 2000 they stopped at this site. According to his journal this sign and memorial was placed by the Indiana Boy Scouts in 1976 as part of their United States Bicentennial Celebration.  While in the area you might want to check out lildouglas3's cache "Good Luck". It's placed very close to a bridge I've always known as shawnee bridge. What I didn't know was that the field to the left just after the bridge going towards Wandin was known as Shawnee Bottoms. I discovered that after reading Mr. Sleases' journal. For more info on Mike Sleases journey google Kitttaning Expedition - On the trail of last Mohicans.

Your looking for a camoed pill bottle.
