The cache is a bison container and contains a disappointing lack of swaps. There is no pen. It is very easy to find. It is also in the most inconvenient place I could think of. Not only is this cache stupid, if you're a fan of the search, or swaps, it is pointless too.
It is "hidden" under the south end of a bridge next to a ford. There are a couple of ways to access it. Neither of them involve a boat. When choosing how to get the cache, ask yourself one question - "Which method will result in the most amusing log?"
WARNING - THE RIVER GETS DANGEROUSLY HIGH AT TIMES
This ford is usually passable by standard road cars, however it is not unusual for it to be 6 feet deep or even as high as the bridge.
Bear in mind that it does not take much fast moving water to sweep you off your feet, so as a general rule ask yourself; "Would I drive a Ford through that ford?", If the answer is no, then do not attempt the cache.
To help you, the depth marker usually reads about 1 ft - 18in. This is the limit of what would be safe.
It is recommended that you do not attempt this cache alone. Have someone on dry land with a mobile phone so that they can capture the attempt on video call for help if needed. Spoilers welcomed. Where the cache is and what to expect are no secret. The stories must be told!
Please return the cache as found, it should be on the side of the beam which is under the bridge, and not visible from the road.
