Geocache Description:

This is a kid-friendly cache on the UW-Platteville campus. If you're patient, "Doubt You'll" miss it.

This is the first kid-friendly cache was set by students in the School of Education at UW-Platteville (Language Arts & Social Studies Teaching 4090, Fall 2014). Doudna Hall, the home of the School of Education, was built in 1952 and named after Edgar Doudna. "He graduated from the Platteville State Teachers College in 1900. He went on to serve as principal for Sextonville schools, and while there, formed the first public high school band in the United States. Doudna also served on the Board of College Regents, was president of the Wisconsin Education Association, and a member of the Wisconsin Historical Society, National Council of English Teachers, and Phi Delta Kappa" (Explore Doudna).

Park on main street (not in the parking lot). Do not cut through any private property. Beware of muggles during the weekday as campus can be busy.

The cache is a big plastic jug. Inside you'll find an explanation of why ammo boxes were important as well as some kid-friendly swag to trade. This is a family-friendly game, so keep trade items and logs clean. Please don't leave swag that kids should touch or see. Feel free to explore the other caches on UW-Platteville's beautiful campus. Memorial Park has changed a lot since the tornado. Check out this map for more information: http://goo.gl/mI1iUC on the clean up progress.
