This is a remote but easily accessible spot with some nice views, when the weather's good.
The cache is on a very quiet single track road with views over to Walton Dam, a popular fishing spot.
It's accessible from the road on the verge with no need to go through the fence. It's not in or on the wall.
There is very limited parking at the dam, but likely occupied by the anglers. Otherwise, parking is awkward. It is a quiet road, though, leading only to a few remote farms, so if you're quick...
I cycled there, but it's a bit of climb even from Newton Mearns.
