Zakład Terenowy w Lubowidzu był częścią Wytwórni Sprzętu Komunikacyjnego (WSK) PZL-Świdnik. Realizowano tutaj produkcję wyrobów motoryzacyjnych, produkowano tutaj lotnicze elementy z laminatów.
Z początkiem lat 90 WSK PZL w Lubowidzu zaczęła jednak chylić się ku upadkowi.
W ostatnim okresie swojego istnienia filia była zarządzana przez PZL"Warszawa-Okęcie".
Obecnie w jednym budynku mieści się oczyszczalnia ścieków, natomiast pozostałe są opuszczone i niszczeją.
Ale zanim powstała fabryka w tym miejscu znajdował się ogród rodziny Sieradzkich. Ogród ten nazywano Źwierzyńcem, gdyż jego alejami spacerowały na co dzień zwierzęta.

Regional Department of Lubowidzu was part of Communication Equipment Factory (WSK) PZL-Świdnik. This factory produced automotive products and aviation parts from laminates.
The branch subsidiary company in Lubowidz, supported by the R&D Center, contributed to the manufacture of motorization products. The branch in Lubowidz was concentrated on creating aircraft composite components.
Currently one of the buildings is occupied by the sewage treatment plant, while others are abandoned and decaying.
