GeoBoy decided he wanted to put a cache out. He had the name and type picked out so we headed off to find a location. This one is close to home where he can keep an eye on it for maintenance and swag stock. He is also launching his first TB with this cache.
A short walk along paved bike paths from 44th Ave, where there is parking and a number of bus routes available, or there is slightly closer parking indicated. Geopup friendly with lots of walking paths in the area.
If you are wondering why the 'closer' spot mentioned in the logs isn't listed as a parking waypoint, in the winter and spring part of the path tends to be a sheet of ice, or under water as part of the access pathway is low lying.
