Geocache Description:

Train Track Steam Series (TTSS) A small series of caches placed along the train track lines in the far East Rand. Section 1

The second placement of the Train Track Steam Series  (TTSS).

There are other off-road riders using this dirt road extensively on a Sunday. Keep left as far as possible.

As per the cache attributes this cache should be done with either of the following:
1) Off-road bicycle.
2) Dual purpose motorbike (What I use)
3) Quad bike.
4) High-clearance motor vehicle
5) Motor vehicle

Section 1
1) Can easily be completed with a normal vehicle, and there is place to turn around if required.
2) Enter at S26 01.658 E28 18.875 - Turn off the road, head towards the koppie, pass it with the koppie on your right, as you get to the train tracks turn right.
3) Section 1 ends at S26° 01.270' E28° 20.730' - Here you can turn left, go over the bridge and return to the Kempton Park / Bapsfontein road.

Section 2
1) Can be completed with a high clearance vehicle, but is very narrow at certain places, and you vehicle will get scratched at times due to the narrow 2 spoor road. The road is also very bumpy in certain places. In summer you can get stuck in the mud after some rain.

Cache Details
1) You are looking for a PET preform with camo paint.
2) Bring your own pen / writing utensil.

In the lid there is a code: Write down this code. You will need it later on

Rail road fact 1: Because a stiff wheel rolling on a rigid rail requires less energy per ton-mile moved than road transport (with a highly compliant wheel on an uneven surface), rail roads are highly suitable for the movement of dense, bulk goods such as coal and other minerals.
