Geocache Description:

Meet at the posted coordinates at 0930h Saturday morning.

This event is located at a downtown survey marker - ASCM 384461. This is a fun opportunity to test our GPSrs to see how well they perform downtown while dealing with multipath issues.

I have been wondering, which GPS handles the downtown environment best? Do any phones give good results? So I figured, what better way to get a bunch of GPS together than a Geocaching event. Bring one or more GPS with you, and we will compare them all to see how they all preform in the presence of the downtown multipath environment.

We will be here for about 30 min, testing and comparing all of our GPSrs. Anyone who would like to stay and chat afterward can head over to the nearby coffee shop two blocks South of here for a coffee (Waypoint provided). This location is open 24h and has in store seating. Apparently, this is the only coffee shop open downtown on Saturday.
