The Inia William Tuuta Memorial Airport was opened on 30 June 1981 by New Zealand Prime Minister Sir Robert Muldoon. The airport has regular flights most days of the week, with flights to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch on different days. It provides a important link to the mainland and an air freight service as well for Chatham Island produce. The terminal is only open when flights depart (normally 9.30-10.30am) or when the plane arrives back later in the afternoon. Inside the terminal is a plaque on the wall commemorating a very special bird. Find the plaque to solve this puzzle.
