The Set of Blackheath Caches' are along a lovely walk - its 3km walk to the Old Farmhouse. A beautiful setting over looking Thurso. The walk is split into two, if you do not wish to do it all in one go. Please beware crossing the A836, as it’s a busy road and also on sharp bend, If you wish to park for the second half of the walk then I suggest parking in the Parking area and not at the farm gates leading to and from the walk.
I would suggest welly boots or other waterproof footwear especially for the second half of the walk as it can be very wet
