El (falso) faro de la calle Aragón
A principios de 2014, con las obras de humanización de la calle Aragón de Vigo, se construyó una nueva rotonda en el cruze de esta calle con la del Padre Celso (que sube hacía San Juan). Presidiendo la rotonda se encuentra una estatua metálica que representa un faro algo abstracto. De noche, la luminaria de este falso faro se ilumina y gira simulando a un verdadero faro.
En las inmediaciones de la rotonda hay un balcón-mirador, con unas escaleras que comunican con la zona del Viso-Pinelas. Desde el mirador, y a pesar de los edificios de la cercana Travesía de Vigo, se puede ver parte de la Ría de Vigo, las Islas Cíes y gran parte de la ciudad de Vigo. Aunque las vistas en sí no son muy impresionantes, suponen un buen lugar para disfrutar de la puesta del sol, ya sea sobre la península del Morrazo en verano, sobre las Cíes en primavera y otoño, o sobre el monte del Castro en invierno.
El cache se encuentra bajando las escaleras del mirador en una zona bastante discreta. Se trata de un contenedor micro que sólo contiene loogbook, así que recordad llevar material de escritura (si no tenéis postead una foto del loogbook). Tened cuidado con los muggles por encima de vuestras cabezas.

The (fake) lighthouse of Aragón street.
In early 2014, during the humanization of the Aragón Street in Vigo, a new roundabout was build in the intersection of this street with the Padre Celso street (which leads to San Juan vecinity). Presiding over the roundabout is a metal statue of a somewhat abstract lighthouse. At night, the light of this false beacon turns simulating a real lighthouse.
In the vicinity of the roundabout there is a balcony/lookout with stairs leading down to the area of O Viso-Pinelas. From the lookout, despite surrounding buildings at Travesía de Vigo, you can see part of the Ria de Vigo, the Cies Islands, and much of the city of Vigo. Although the views themselves are not very impressive, this is a good place to enjoy the sunset, either on the peninsula Morrazo in summer, on Cies in spring and autumn, or on the mountain of Castro in winter.
The cache is located downstairs the lookout (there is a ramp to make it accessible about 100 meters down the street, surrounding the buildings for access their garage) in a fairly quiet area. It is a micro sized container containing only logbook, so remember to bring writing materials (if you have not then post a photo of logbook). Beware of Muggles above your heads!
