Up for a fun weekend camping trip when i noticed that there were no caches on the west side of Steinhagen Lake. We ended up boating out and finding a nice little spot for this one.
***YOU WILL NEED SOME FORM OF WATERBORNE TRANSPORTATION TO REACH THIS CACHE!***
If you look at the map, you'll see that this one is pretty much in the center of the lake. This being the case, it will involve a bunch of paddling if you decide to use canoe or kayak for the trip out. The cache itself is regular in size and should be easy to spot once you make it to ground zero.
As for most caches placed in this beautiful area, be sure to watch for wildlife that may bite, sting, or cause a rash. The way this cache is hidden, you shouldn't have too much to worry about but i did want to throw in the warning just in case. It's always a good idea to watch where you put your hands and feet when looking for caches in wild.
