Hoch über dem Gföllberg schiebt sich unterhalb des Steinerholms ein Geländebuckel ins Tal vor, der im Volksmund als der „Faden“ bekannt ist.
Ein erstes Mal wurde am Faden, etwas unterhalb des heutigen Standortes im Jahre 1928 ein Stöckl errichtet, und zwar als Bitte um gedeihliche Witterung.
1951 wurde das Bildstöckl dann am heutigen Standort errichtet. 1994 wurde das Stöckl von drei benachbarten Bauern erneuert.
Erreichbar ist das Fadenstöckl von St. Johann über die Niederhoferalm in etwa 1,5 bis 2 Stunden Gehzeit.

Sopra la località San Giovanni c´è una colle che nella tradizione popolare è conosciuta come “Faden”.
Nell´anno 1928 veniva costruito qui, un po’ sotto della posizione attuale, un pilone votivo con la domanda di avere buon tempo.
Nell´anno 1951 il capitello veniva ricostruito sulla posizione attuale e nel 1994 veniva rinnovato da tre contadini vicini.
Il “Fadenstöckl” è raggiungibile da San Giovanni e la malga Niederhofer in circa 1,5 -2 ore di camminata.

Above the locality St. Johann there is a hill, which in the vernacular is known as “Faden”.
In the year 1928 here has been built, a little under the current position, a roadside shrine to become good weather.
In the 1951 the shrine has been built-on on the current position. In the 1994 it was renewed by three neighboring farmers.
The “Fadenstöckl” can be reached from St. Johann and the Niederhoferalm in about 1,5-2 hours.
