StealthRT: It was a disappointment there was not a good amount of snow falling today. Only some very brief flurries. I'm not even sure the rate of fall qualifies as flurries. I'm also not sure everyone would agree that the lack of snow was actually a disappointment.

I am sure everyone would agree we had a good crew in attendance.

We will certainly miss ET42. Look forward to seeing her down the road.

Kansas City’s Monthly Area Sit Talk Eat Relax Event

The mandate of the KC Master event is simple. This is a monthly gathering where cachers and the cacher-curious can gather to sit, talk, eat, and relax.

Event Time: 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Event Type: Casual

This is a casual event. Come in. Pay for your meal. Sit in proximity to cachers. Relax. Eat. Chat.

Join us in Blue Springs as we watch the first snow of the season!

This month is a unique BYOF affair. We will gather at Baumgardner Pavilion. Bring whatever food and drink you like. Food from home. Food from a nearby fast food joint. Or have food delivered to the pavilion from a local Asian eatery or pizza provider. There are a myriad of possibilities. This month the options are all yours.

Please log your will-attend early as early as you can and include the number who will be eating in your crew. This is vital for this month's event to ensure enough food is on hand.

This month’s we will be "eating out". We will gather at the Baumgardner Pavilion. The Polish Grill Master will be on site. An outstanding sandwich and chips will run $8 (cash only). As there would be nearly no way to carry the range of drinks our community enjoys, please bring your favorite beverage with you to the event.

The 2014 Master Prize is a handheld GPS that you will be proud to sport from the end of your favorite lanyard. The winner of the Master Prize will be determined during a tournament of sorts at the end of the year. Opportunities to gain entry into the tournament to compete for the Master Prize will be available at specific geocaching events throughout the year. While attending today’s KC Master Event will provide you with an opportunity to gain a slot in the tournament and to ultimately win the Master Prize, there will be other events this year where you can win an entry as well. Be sure to watch for those events throughout the year and participate to maximize your opportunity to win the Master Prize and to add a new GPS unit to your arsenal.
