Katie's Floater Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Lock Pirates: This cache was a great idea, but lots of maintenance required due to over-zealous cachers bypassing the system to get to the treasure. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

This is a cunning little cache which is just off the Thames path near Wallingford.  You may find it difficult to do this cache solo.

This cache is placed for the youngest of the Lock Pirates, Katie.  The cache site is easily accessible, but to get your hands on the actual container will require some thinking and more than one pair of hands.  The clue is in the title and you will need an accessory to help you retrieve the cache which you can either bring, or have a look around to find. I have placed a stickoflage in the holder to aid the disguise.

Watch out for muggles as the path can be quite busy. Also watch out for the prickles from the Hawthorn bush.

The cache itself is a clean sample bottle and contains a pencil.
