When I scouted this area to figure out where to place the cache, I had two young does watching me. After I decided on the hide, a young buck crossed my path. Then, just before I cleared the woods, a large doe came up to me. I hope they survive the season.
Small peanut butter jar with log sheet and small trade items. I would advise against trying to drive into the park as the drive is not maintained. better parking is found to the West and South edge of the park by the "back"entrance. I would advie wearing a blaze orange article of clothing although you should bw well within the safe zone. This applies from Nov 1st to Dec 16th. There are 15 bow hunters with permits to take deer out from certain areas. This park should be outside the North Straight River area, but play it safe. Good luck, have fun, and be safe.
