The Hawks Ridge Trail is mostly open along much of its length, but in this area there is a little cluster of bushes sufficent to hide a cache, so I left one. Nothing very special. I saw no PO anywhere near, but there are likely to be ticks some times during the year, so be alert.
The cache is in the Russian Ridge OSP, so please observe posted hours.
Update 12/3/21: Seven years ago when this cache was placed, the "little cluster" of bushes had 3 distinct ones. Now the "cluster" is a massive one along both sides of the trail. I think I picked out the original 3, but they are certainly not distinctive any more. The cache was still there, but minus most of its camo and its hanger. I've "refreshed" the camo and hanger and updated the info and hint. Should be good for another 7 years.
