You may think Christmas is over, but it's not!
Everyone knows the song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas."
But do you know the actual origin of the song?
The Twelve Days of Christmas is probably the most misunderstood part of the church year among Christians who are not part of liturgical church traditions. Contrary to much popular belief, these are not the twelve days before Christmas, but, in most of the Western Church, are the twelve days from Christmas until the beginning of Epiphany (January 6th; the 12 days count from December 25th until January 5th).

The 3rd day of Christmas!
You don't have to bring 3 French hens or that other stuff, but if you wish to participate in a Christmas-style door prize give-away, please bring an inexpensive ($2 or less), swag-type wrapped gift! Each person who brings a gift will leave with a different gift!
Of course, this is totally optional on your part. If you don't wish to participate in this, please feel free to attend the event anyway! We just want you there!
What?
Nothing fancy! Just a chance to meet other geocachers from the Arkansas River Valley area (and elsewhere!) and discuss geocaching while enjoying a meal and enjoying each others company this joyful time of the year.
Where?
Italian Gardens in Russellville (See the coordinates above). We will meet in the back banquet room.
When?
Saturday, December 27th, from 11:00 AM 11:15 AM to 1:00 PM or so.

Please note that each attendee will be responsible for his or her own food and drink. The manager of the restaurant has agreed that persons attending this event will not be required to purchase anything. However, please do not bring your own food or drink into the restaurant!
Bring your appetite and
your best Christmas-related geocaching tales!
Please post a "Will Attend" note by 9 PM on Thursday, 12/25/14 if you think you will be coming, including the number in your party, so that I can let the restaurant know how many to expect. This will help them have enough places set for us and also have enough wait persons on duty to serve us as well as the other customers that morning in a timely manner!
