A traditional cache just inside the Thomsons Bush Reserve, off the Waihopai River track.
The easiest way to approach this cache would be to park at the Thomsons Bush Parking Area (waypoint provided) and walk west on the embankment track until you reach the final staircase leading into Thomsons Bush. Then, turn on to the forest track heading west towards the industrial area and you will find a good place to head off track. The cache is located 50 metres or so off the track in mixed pine/native forest. Accuracy was at 4m when placed.
