Schloss Dornsberg

Zu Füßen des Nörderberges liegt die Burg Tarantsberg oder Dornsberg. Sie wurde im Jahre 1217 von den Taranten erbaut. Die Mitglieder dieser Familie waren nachweislich Ministerialien der Grafen von Tirol. Sie schmückten das Schloss mit schönen Täfelungen, Kachelöfen, geschnitzten Türen und Fenstern und vielem mehr. In der Kapelle befindet sich natürlich ein Flügelaltar, die Wände sind mit alten Malereien geziert. In der Mitte der Burg ragt der schöne, noch gut erhaltene Bergfried in den Himmel. Im 16. Jahrhundert wurde die Anlage nochmal umgebaut und erweitert. Nachdem bis zum zweiten Weltkrieg verschiedene Adlige die Burg bewohnten, wohnten am Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges verschiedenste Menschen auf Schloss Dornsberg, die dem Bau leider auch Schaden zufügten, bzw. zum Verschwinden wertvoller Gegenstände beitrugen. Irgendwann diente die Burg sogar als Jugendherberge. Im Jahre 1964 kauften die Münchner Herren Gottschall die Anlage und ließen sie unter großem Aufwand restaurieren. Heute noch ist Burg Dornsberg im Besitz dieser Familie. Besichtigungen sind leider nicht möglich. Ich wünsche euch viel Spass bei eurem Aufenthalt.

Ai piedi del Nörderberges si trova il castello Tarantsberg o Dornsberg. E 'stato costruito nel 1217 dal Taranten.
