Welcome to the back trails of The Ten Ton Bridge. There's a parking lot right next to the bridge on Landing Avenue where you can leave your car for access to this cache. A trail entrance in the corner of the parking lot will be your starting point for this great adventure. Only takes a couple minutes to get to the cache from the lot. A sweet walk in the backwood trails along the beautiful Nissequogue river. Growing up, my brother and i would do a lot of fishing in this river, so I found it fitting we planted my very first cache here together.
Sidenote; There's a sign on the trail entrance saying for access call this number, but have no fear, you are allowed to walk through here, just cannot drive through. Called the ranger and he cleared it all up.
