Upon stopping near ground zero, I was reviewing GPS data and not paying much attention to my surroundings. I heard some "snorting" type sounds and about the time I looked up, four deer decided that they needed to vacate the premises promptly. They were only about 30 feet from me but within seconds were hundreds of feet away. I guess they are not very socialble in the mornings.
