This cache has been archived.

Cache Effect: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

St Albert the Great is our parish. It is built like a European Cathedral and is worth a visit while in Calgary.

St. Albert the Great Parish was formed in 1995 and continues to be a busy and growing part of Southeast Calgary.

When Fr. Pat started this parish it was his hope that one day it would grow into a beacon of God's love in the community.  The melding of tradition and contemporary was to be used to draw all people to God.

On January 5th, 2003 the dream came into being as St. Albert the Great Church was consecrated to the glory of God.

Today the parish continues to grow and attempts to share in the building up of God's Kingdom here on earth.

Beware of muggles on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings.
