[LT] Vilniaus priemiestyje, Bukiškių kaime ,Sodo gatvėje yra nedidelė, bet labai jauki mūrinė bažnyčia (cerkve) su penkiais mėlynais kupolais. Kristaus Gimimo cerkvė buvo pastatyta Rusijos generalinio Bozerjano lėšomis XIX amžiaus antroje pusėje, kuriam žemes carinė valdžia padovanojo už 1863 m. sukilimo numalšinimą.
Per Antrąjį pasaulinį karą bažnyčia buvo beveik sunaikinta. Sovietmečiu ilgą laiką buvo žemės ūkio mokyklos sandėliu. Nepriklausomos Lietuvos valstybė grąžino cerkvę Lietuvos stačiatikių bažnyčiai.
90-ųjų pabaigoje buvo pradėti bažnyčios brėžinių atstatymo darbai, o 2002 m. prasidėjo restauravimo darbai. Vilniaus ir Lietuvos Metropolito Chryzostomo pastangomis bažnyčia buvo atstatyta ir 2011 metų vasarą pradėjo veikti.
[EN] In the suburbs of Vilnius, in the village Bukishkes, Sodu street is a small, but very cozy orthodox church with five blue domes. It is the church in horor of the Nativity of Christ, which was built by the Russian general Bozherjanov in the second half of the nineteenth century.
The church was almost destroyed during the Second World War. It has been turned into a warehouse of the agriculture school in Soviet times. The state of independent Lithuania returned the church to the Orthodox Church.
In the late of 90s the reconstruction of the drawings of the church was started, and in 2002 began the restoration work. Thanks to the efforts of the retired Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Vilnius and Lithuania church was rebuilt and in summer 2011 the services started.
