Our fourth annual festive Wherigo, although it can be played any time of year!
This year you're playing the part of Santa! It's Christmas Eve and you're about to set off on your annual mission of dropping off presents to all of the nice children of the world.
But Santa's very disorganised this year and there's a lot still to be done before he can head off. He's got to repair damaged presents, feed the reindeer, get the sleigh ready and more besides.
Your task is simply to get all of these jobs done so Santa can embark on his journey bringing joy around the world.
The cartridge has been field tested on a smartphone, other platforms are of course available.
When we field tested the cartridge, it took around 90 minutes to play out the game, plus another 20 minutes to walk to the cache site. Feel free to play the cartridge over multiple sittings, especially if you have young children in your caching team, as it will involve a lot of walking!
You may wish to drive to the final location, although it's not a park and grab, so you will need to find suitable parking. Please park safely, legally, and considerately.
Some tips as you go along. I can't stress any of the below enough!!
- Save your game at regular intervals, where your chosen hardware allows.
- Pay attention to what's going on on your screen, so you don't miss anything.
The ground was slightly soggy underfoot in places at time of placing. There is a fair bit of walking generally. The D and T ratings reflect that.
